Happy Saturday! Today, I’m sharing two modern farmhouse playroom mood boards I put together for a playroom design a few weeks ago. For this design package, I put together two mood boards and then some design boards using pictures of the actual room to show how I would place the items in the space. Our Playroom
Just over two years ago I revealed our playroom! You can read all about it and get all the details here. I would say it has a coastal farmhouse style! It really hasn’t changed much in the past two years! I added a peel and stick wallpaper accent wall and the toys have multiplied (and multiplied again). It has served us well for sure! You can see some other recent pictures of our playroom here and here.
Playroom Mood Boards
The jumping off point for these mood boards was the green barn that my client already had. I wanted to incorporate the green tone in the rug and pillows but also provided some other modern farmhouse options! We also talked about adding an accent wall so I added a few options across the two mood boards.
I used a similar version (non-leather) of this lounge chair in another modern farmhouse playroom design here. This black and white map I shared in a playroom wall decor roundup and it was a big hit and follower favorite! The “let’s play” sign I also used in a playroom gallery wall here. My kids love their ball pit so I included that (although it is NOT my favorite toy – the majority of time that I am not working on designs, I am cleaning up balls) and all the toy storage ideas! I also included black and white striped curtains to add another pattern – they are one of my favorite modern farmhouse curtain options and in fact, I have them in my bonus room (seen here!).
Considering a design package? I’d love to help! Message me here for more info or to talk about your project!
