Happy Thursday friends! Almost through another week! I wanted to share some pictures of my home decorated for winter today! Take a look below for my 2021 winter home tour – I’ve also linked my decor and furniture items where I could! If you don’t see something you’re looking for, message me or leave a comment below.
Winter is kind of a weird time for decorating – you’re transitioning out of Christmas so everything looks a little sad, and not ready for spring yet – especially for my northern friends, sorry guys! Not going to lie, I’ve already started adding some pops of pink for Valentine’s Day! I hope some of my tips below inspire you to keep things fresh this winter!

Winter Dining Room
For my dining room, I really kept things simple by just using two vases with stems on my buffet table and a simple table runner with candles for my table centerpiece. I added white cozy pillows to my end chairs – I love white and ivory for winter! The biggest “winter” item for this room is the birch trees in the corner! I thought moving my faux palm back in here was too spring-y, so I went with these white birch trees, and they are amazing! I have an 8′ and a 4′ tree. We have them set on an automatic timer so they light up at night and I love the twinkle – wasn’t ready to give that up from Christmas yet!
Entryway
Again, simple was the name of the game here! I kept the same winter art print I had out at Christmas and just kind of “de-cluttered” the decor. I added in some blues and greens with my books and beads, which will transition into spring nicely! The blue green eucalyptus color is also perfect for winter!
Powder Room
I’ve been cleaning every room as I’ve rearranged – it seems like the perfect opportunity to do this after taking down the Christmas decor! This room I switched up a decent amount, which I’ve never really done, and I’m loving the changes. I used faux branches in the vase – which is definitely perfect for winter!
Playroom
I wanted to make this room feel really cozy for winter! I used all white/ivory/gold pillows and added a vase of pampas grass. The pampas grass is perfect because it adds a natural element and texture without being green! Those neutral colors are the name of the game for me this winter!
Kitchen
I think the kitchen is less “wintery” than other areas in my house! I still have some pops of fun blue and green with my new amazon bowls. But I did try to keep some accents of gold (the wine glasses) to play off my dining room decor!
My kitchen counter decor is very simple with clean lines. For spring, I plan to add in more greenery here. Right now, I’m using ivory/white flowers (see a pattern here? lol).
Hope you enjoyed my winter home tour! I’m loving the cozy but clean and simple feel! Let me know your favorite part in a comment below!
