Hi friends! It’s been a minute! My last blog post was a few Halloween mood boards, which you can check out here. Today, I wanted to share how I created some of those mood boards in my own house – with some new and some old decor. Keep on scrolling for this year’s Halloween home tour!
And make sure you follow me on Instagram here and LTK here for more Halloween and seasonal inspiration!

Front Porch
My favorite part of my Halloween front porch is the skeleton planters! They are actually candy bowls from Target that I removed the candy dish part from. I paired them with real mums from Costco (which have bloomed a little bit more since I took this picture and I’ve managed not to kill them yet!)
My other favorite addition to the Halloween from porch are the woven planters that my faux mums are in. These are from Walmart and budget friendly! You can also check out some of my fall wreath picks here and home exterior details can be found here!
We went with a skeleton theme on the exterior this year. I have a few more details in this instagram reel.
Entryway
I’ve been wanting to try hanging witch hats somewhere for a few years, so I finally did it in our entry! I used this pack of hats because it already came with fishing line and then I hung them to the ceiling with small clear command hooks.
Most of my Halloween decor centers around my entry console (a consistent best seller!). I used this pack of bats because they came with wall stickers and I had some issues in the past with tack type adhesive leaving residue on our walls. Layered artwork and black accents complete the look!
I rounded up a bunch of Halloween art ideas here!
Bar Cart
Another one of my favorite places to add seasonal decor is my bar cart! I actually put together two different Halloween bar cart looks that you can see in this reel.
Kitchen
In my kitchen, I keep it pretty simple and add just a few touches to my coffee bar, floating shelves, and some faux flowers as counter decor.
I also added some fall syrup flavors to my coffee bar: Brown Sugar Cinnamon, Pumpkin Pie, and Salted Caramel. I use these custom coffee bar labels and they are my favorite! They really make the whole space look so much nicer!
Living Room
I kept the living room very simple by adding a few birds into my bookshelves. I also put some black garland and candles on my mantle. These light up at night on a timer which gives a great orange glow! (Note I have an approx. 6′ mantle and I almost always layer two garlands to give a fuller feel – you can see how I did this at Christmas here too!)
Breakfast Nook
We recently had a built in banquette installed in our breakfast nook (by Turner Woodworks!) so I’m still working on kind of completing this space but I love how the banquette just fits the space perfectly! More views on Instagram here!
Happy Halloween!
