Happy Friday y’all! Today I’m back with more nursery designs for Furnishing Friday! I feel like I’ve been doing a ton of nurseries lately – which is fine by me because they are so fun and cute! If you want to see more nursery mood boards, make sure you’re following me in the LikeToKnow.It app!
The 3 mood boards below I did with a baby boy in mind (although with a few tweaks you could probably make them work for a girl too!). They all have blue accents. I used the same color palette as the small living room design in this post!

Option 1 – Blue Nursery
For this baby boy nursery, I choose a blue rug, dresser, and curtains, offset with a neutral glider and crib. I also used this crib in one of the designs in this post if you want to see how else it could be coordinated! I wanted to add some nautical accents with the artwork, but not necessarily make it the dominant theme (check out option 2 if you want more nautical elements!).
Option 2 – Nautical Nursery
This baby boy nursery option has a few more nautical decor items with the art prints, storage basket, and dresser decor. It is a little bit reversed from the first design with a more neutral base and then blue and black accents!
Option 3 – Gold and Olive Accents
I wanted to give an option with a little bit of a different color palette, so I added an olive green tone to the mix with Sherwin Williams Rosemary. The olive crib is so fun – although definitely out of my normal neutral furniture comfort zone! These furniture tones look great with gold accents in the mirror, light fixture, and curtain rod!
Small Playroom
As an added bonus, I also put together an idea for a small playroom or play area that coordinates with the nurseries! I wanted to make sure navy blue was the main color (outside of white furniture/rug tone) and then I added some travel accents with a globe and art prints!
Which one is your favorite? I don’t know if I could pick to be honest!
