Happy Sunday friends! Blog posts two days in a row!? Woah (PS. Check out yesterday’s post here). Today I’m sharing 4 coastal inspired living room designs I recently put together! These all have a little bit of a coastal flair to them but mixed with other styles so they give off different feels!

Coastal Meets Traditional
First and foremost, I always start with a color palette for my designs (I probably sound like a broken record player!). The color palette I used in these first two designs is as follows (all Benjamin Moore colors):
- Chantilly Lace
- Paper White
- Stonington Gray
- Boothbay Gray
- Amherst Gray
- Hale Navy
I also posted some additional area rug ideas that coordinate with this color palette on LTK, which you can check out here!
In this coastal meets traditional living room design, I added picture moulding to all four walls in BM Stonington Gray. Picture moulding is a very traditional type of trim detail but it’s very in style right now! It’s a classic look for sure. You can make it a little bit more modern feeling by painting everything in the room the same color – the walls, baseboards, crown moulding, window frames, picture moulding. I love how this design feels elegant, uses coastal colors, and has some very laid back pieces in it too!
Coastal Chic
For this design, I started out by painting the walls BM Chantilly Lace. This really gave me a fresh base to work with! Chantilly Lace is a great, pure white color that goes with many things and many styles! I chose some more organic and curved furniture pieces, such as the coffee table, floor lamp, and swivel chair, to create the coastal chic look.
Coastal Casual
This living room design is all about comfort and practicality while still looking put together and sophisticated! This balance is what I try to achieve in all of my designs – I want to create a space you can actually live in but that looks styled, cohesive, and gorgeous!
I love a navy sectional for a great pop of color. Navy is still a neutral in my book, especially in coastal design! I balanced out the darker tone of the sectional with light accent chairs, tables, and cabinets.
Coastal Farmhouse
The majority of my house probably most closely resembles a coastal farmhouse style. You can check out some of my coastal farmhouse posts here:
This color palette is a little bit softer than your traditional coastal color palette with more greens, and blue/greens vs deep blues. I love the mixture of green/blue, gray, and neutral tones!
The first two designs are part of my 3D full room package (one view) and the last two are from my 2D full room mood board package!
I offer 4 e-design and 3 in-person design packages ranging in price from $75 to $375! All packages include full accessibility and communication with me as well as unlimited revisions!
I’d love to know which is your favorite! Drop a comment below to let me know!
