Happy Friday! We’ve made it! Funny story – I posted some #followfridays to my Instagram stories yesterday without realizing it was Thursday! Whoops! (PS. You can follow me on Instagram here).
Today, I wanted to share a master bedroom and bathroom e-design I finished up a few weeks ago and I am SO excited to see how this room(s) comes together!

For this design, I was looking to keep it very soft and neutral. Light grays and whites are definitely an easy way to achieve this look! You can add in a few pops of color in pillows or other decor.
Even though I like to think I’m pretty creative, I also need inspiration for designs, just like you! I personally use Instagram, Pinterest, and LiketoKnow.it for inspiration.

I suggested SW Extra White as the paint color in both rooms. In my designs I also include other colors that would coordinate or compliment the wall color. This helps me (and you) visualize a color palette. Like I mentioned before, you can add some pops of other colors to an otherwise neutral palette with pillows and decor. Based on the color palette I suggested for this design, blue gray, a darker taupe gray, and even a darker almost navy would complement the neutral white color scheme well.
I personally prefer to have a ceiling fan in my bedrooms as opposed to a pretty light fixture. I just think they are more practical. I know there are some really cool standing fans though (like this one!). I also like to do a little sitting corner if the room has space for it!
Master Bathroom Design
For the bathroom, I chose to do black hardware to coordinate with the hardware in the rest of the house in this design. As you can see, I also made sure to include some matte black decor in the bedroom to tie these two rooms together – the lamps, frames, and basket. I also love to bring some greenery into the bathroom (and bedroom!) to add some natural texture and warmth.
Let me know what you think of these designs in the comments! Bedroom designs are some of my favorite designs to do! Please feel free to reach out to me at any time if you’re interested in working with me on a design!
