Hi friends! Happy Thursday! It’s been a while since I posted, but I’ve been busy working on some fun designs for both clients and myself! For my own home, the one I am furthest on is a refresh of our master bathroom decor and organization! Apparently, “nesting” means redecorating and reorganizing everything while also cleaning!
Today, I thought I would share my mood board for our master bath and some of the organization items I’ve purchased! Keep on scrolling!

If you want to see my current master bathroom, head on over to my “Shop My Home” page.
I’m not doing anything major – just changing out some of the decor pieces! I am moving away from some of the black accents I currently have in this room and adding some more warm/gray wood tones to give a more coastal feel. The biggest plans I have are adding new rugs in front of our vanities, adding a woven chandelier above our tub, and peel and stick wallpaper in our water closet.
Water closet decor is so hard! We have a linen closet within this “toilet room” but no windows or natural light. You can see my current water closet decor in this post.
In the mood board, you’ll see all the paint colors we have in our house: Passive, Snowbound, Dustblu, Krypton, Gibraltar, and Gauntlet Gray (all Sherwin Williams). We also have SW Repose Gray in the majority of our first floor/living spaces.
Bathroom Organization Items
While I’m at it, I’ve been overhauling our bathroom cabinets, drawers, and linen closet. I started with the drawers in our vanities. We already had non-adhesive shelf liner like this one in each drawer, but if you don’t I would highly recommend that as a starting point! Then I moved on to the large cabinet we have at the end of our vanity, and lastly, the linen closet in our water closet. Here are my tips when you do this!
- Take everything out
- Group together like items
- Figure out how many bins you need/where you want things to go
- Measure your drawers and cabinets to see what kind of organizer and how many will fit
Below are the products I purchased to organize and what I used them for! I love a combination of acrylic/wire baskets so that you can see through them, and also pretty baskets. I would also consider possibly adding label clips like these so that you don’t forget where anything is!
It’s so nice to have the drawers and cabinets looking pretty and organized! I might be sharing more photos of the end result in Instagram stories today, so make sure to follow me there so you don’t miss anything!
I hope this helps if you are looking for a little bathroom refresh or to get organized this spring! No better time than spring cleaning to switch things up!
