Hi friends! Today, I’m sharing an in-depth look at my master bathroom. I’m calling it a reveal but it’s not really much of a reveal if you follow me on any social media – I’ve posted plenty of pictures of this space over the last three years! Keep on scrolling for all the details – sources linked throughout and summarized at the bottom!

Paint & Flooring
One of the most frequently asked questions I get on my Instagram is what color the walls in this room are! You can find all the paint colors in my house here.
The walls are painted SW Passive 7064, which is a cool gray with blue undertones, in flat. The trim is a custom color that matches the vanity in here and our kitchen cabinets in semi-gloss (all interior doors are also this color).
My husband really wanted to have a wood-look tile somewhere in our house so we did it in here! The floor tile is Mohawk Treyburne Noir Oak in the 6″ x 24″ size and we ran it in a herringbone pattern. I love the interest that the herringbone adds! The wood-look tile works in this room because the color isn’t similar to our hardwood floors but still coordinates. You can see the contrast and seamless transition that we have between flooring a few pictures down.
Freestanding Tub
Is a tub in the master bathroom a deal breaker for you? We hardly ever use it (although my kids do like to take fun bubble baths in it), but I just had to have one. I will say it’s come in handy several times and I’m glad we put one in!
This is Signature Hardware’s Angela tub and is 59″ long, but it’s no longer sold! I wanted a tub that hard somewhat of an angular shape to it – not straight oval – but I didn’t want any hard edges either. Our biggest plumbing splurge in the whole house was this freestanding tub filler.
I love these black and white cactus art prints. They are 24″x36″ each and there is 3″ of wall space between the two frames. Once I bought them off Etsy, I printed them at Nations Photo Lab, and paired them with these Amazon frames.
The one change I would make in this space is doing towel hooks on the back wall instead of a towel bar.
Shower
First and foremost, let’s talk about the most noticeable thing here – the shower tile! The wall tile is GBI Statuary Matte in size 6×12, laid in a brick pattern, with bright white permacolor grout. The floor tile is GBI Statuary Matte in a herringbone mosaic (which we ran in the same direction as the rest of the floor tile) with bright white permacolor grout.
In terms of size, the whole shower footprint is 52″ x 59″. The actual standing space in the shower is 49″ x 43″ and our bench is 14″ deep and 18″ high. We have an 11″x11″ niche, which perfectly fits 4 16oz shampoo/conditioner bottles, and a smaller 5″x11″ niche, where we keep soaps. The bottom niche is about 47″ off the ground.
In retrospect, I would have made these niches bigger to fit a few additional bottles and my razor. As you can see below, I solved this problem with a little teak stand on the bench. It turned out pretty cute and I wanted to add a little greenery into the shower since it’s a fairly large space anyways!
Vanities
We have one long vanity wall with his and hers vanities, separated by a makeup drawer, and a linen closet at the end. In terms of sizing, both vanities are approximately 53″ wide, the makeup drawer is 33″ wide, and linen closet is 27″ wide.
The cabinetry was custom built and is painted one of the cabinet manufacturer’s colors – Frosty White. The mirrors are also custom. The countertop is Statuarietto Honed Marble and is 3 cm thick with an eased edge.
I’ve made several decor changes in this space over the last three years but the biggest impact has been these Loloi rugs and Target cube for my makeup station! I change out my stems seasonally and rotate hand towels but that’s about all that changes in here throughout the year!
Water Closet
We have a water closet with a pocket door for our toilet. It also has a linen closet where I store a lot of our “extras” – toilet paper, sheets, cleaning supplies, what have you. I wrote up a post about how I organized the bathroom and this closet here. The water closet is almost too tight to get a good picture of, but it has the best peel and stick blue grasscloth wallpaper and horizontal 24×36 cactus print to tie into the cactus prints over the tub.
