Happy Wednesday friends! I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving too! I shared a little peak at my Christmas bedroom decor on Instagram the other day here. I thought I would share a few more pictures and details here today! I also put together two Christmas bedroom decor design boards that you can use as inspiration. I’m pretty happy with how they came together. Keep on scrolling for all the details!

4 Steps to add Christmas to Your Bedroom
1. Lights
First, I added this garland to the top of my upholstered bed. I will be posting an Instagram reel with more details on how I secured this, but basically I just added a few push pins into the top of the headboard at the end of the garland. I used two garlands to get fullness. It’s not pre-lit, so I just snaked these battery operated LED lights through the branches. Then I swapped out my eucalyptus tree for two LED birch trees from Amazon! I have the 8 ft and 4 ft trees. I used these in my dining room last winter which you can see here! We also integrated these with our Alexa dots through a smart outlet so I can turn them on and off using voice commands which is so nice when I’m laying in bed at night!
2. Stems
I added some old red berry stems I had to this set of 3 ceramic jugs. I also added some blue berry branches in my master bedroom to stick with the berry theme and put a small 2′ faux tree on a little end table next to our bedroom corner chair. Here are some of my Christmas floral and greenery picks:
3. Winter Plaid
Plaid is such a classic look for Christmas! I’ve never really considered adding bedding just for a holiday, but I did add some pillows and a throw for fall (see it here) and it was so fun, I decided just to go for it for Christmas! I saw this $34 Walmart comforter set and thought it would be a great addition without breaking the bank! I’m so impressed with it for the money! Here are some other plaid items I’ve added to my Christmas decor:
- Plaid Sherpa Backed Lumbar Pillow on my living room couch
- Plaid Alphabet mug (on sale for Black Friday!)
- Plaid 5×7 frame on living room built in bookcase (on sale for Black Friday!)
- Hand Towel in my small office bathroom
- Cotton Kitchen Towel
4. Pillows
Lastly, I added this cute embroidered lumbar pillow from Pottery Barn. I mean how perfect is this “meet me under the mistletoe” quote for the master bedroom!? My 20×20 blue gray pillows are old from HomeGoods. Here are some other holiday pillow combinations I put together:
