Hi friends, happy Thursday! Today I’m sharing a few different kid’s rooms mood boards I put together this week! Below you’ll find a boy nursery, girl nursery, and toddler girl room. These all use the same wall color and accent colors so they are really meant to coordinate across a home – or be an easy transition if you don’t find out the gender of your baby! My nursery design boards are some of my most viewed designs and some of my favorites to put together!
Here are the colors I used for all these rooms:
- Sherwin Williams Alabaster for the walls
- Accent Colors (all Benjamin Moore): Revere Pewter, Shadow Gray, Melted Ice Cream, Hale Navy

Boy Nursery
First up, I put together a baby boy nursery. The base of this design is very neutral with white and wood furniture and a neutral rug to set the tone. I added in some blues with the curtain, bookshelves, and art. This is definitely an easy way to do a gender neutral nursery while you’re pregnant and add the finishing touches after the baby is born!
If you are interested, here are some other boy nursery designs I’ve put together:
Girl Nursery
For the girl nursery version, I used very similar furniture (slightly different pieces shown vs the boy nursery to give you more options!) and added in pink accents! I LOVE this rug for a girl nursery. I think the combination of blue and pink is SO pretty. I also added some pink through the curtains, pillows, blanket, and changing pad cover.
One of my favorite things to do in a nursery, where I typically do budget friendly furniture, just because of the beating it takes over the first few years of a kid’s life, is to change out the drawer knobs or pulls! This adds a great level of customization and really elevates the whole look of the room.
Girl Toddler Room
You can see the nursery design I put together for this baby girl here and here – can’t believe she’s almost ready for a toddler room! For toddler rooms, I usually use quite a bit from the nursery. I like to keep the dresser, bookshelves, and artwork. I typically add a different “reading nook”, where the glider used to be – here I have a canopy tent, bed, and nightstand!
