Happy Monday! Now, I don’t typically decorate my bedroom for fall but I wanted to show you some fall bedroom ideas using pieces I had in other areas of my house! After seeing the pictures below, I might have to reevaluate doing fall bedroom decor! These are really simple ways to make the whole space feel fresh and fun for the season! I switched out just 3 items for these looks:
- Pillows
- Blanket
- Greenery/Stems

In all of the looks below, I used my gray striped duvet, which we keep out most of the year. In the summer, because it is so hot here, we forego the duvet and just use a quilt. Unfortunately, my specific duvet is a few years old and is no longer available but here are some similar picks!
Option 1
Option 1 features my typical bedroom set up. 3 20×20 pillows in the back row, 2 20×20 pillows in the center, and a lumbar. I just love how this pillow combination goes together! It is similar to my current living room couch set up, which you can see here. My dark blue chambray pillows were HomeGoods finds! I LOVE these similar Pottery Barn ones. On a king bed, I wouldn’t go any smaller than 20×20 pillows! PS. Did you see that HomeGoods is supposed to be launching an online store by the end of the year!?
I did my duvet and quilt here with no blanket. Lastly, I switched out my eucalyptus for natural cotton tail stems in my vase set!
Option 2
Option 2 brings in a little more orange! Again, this arrangement is basically the same as my usual. My gray button pillows are old from Pier 1, but Walmart has a similar budget-friendly version, which you can see here!
This orange blanket is from last year’s fall collection at Target. Here are some similar options that are currently in stock!
Another consideration is that this blanket isn’t really long enough for a king bed. This Chunky Knit Bed Blanket from the Casaluna line at Target is a great option for a true bed blanket! My friend, Jen from Jen’s Gathering Nest, uses one on her bed and it is perfection!
I also use a decorative box on one of our nightstands to hold remotes and other clutter. This one is currently out of stock but I also love this one and use it ALL the time in my designs!
Option 3
The looks below feature one of my most popular fall items so far – this Studio McGee blanket! Truth be told, I LOVE the look of this blanket, but it’s not the softest thing in the world. I personally wouldn’t really use it to snuggle under, so it’s better for decor (I usually have it draped over the dining room captain’s chair). I also switched out my faux tree to this olive one! Olive trees are perfect for fall because they typically have a little bit of darker leaf.
Lastly, I wanted to show one different, simpler pillow look with a larger pillow behind. These gray-blue boucle pillows are 24×24 and I only used two for simplicity’s sake, although I think 3 would fit as well! You’ll notice all of my pillow arrangements work out to be the shape of a triangle!
Hope you enjoyed these looks! I loved putting them together! Let me know which is your favorite in a comment below!
