Hey there, happy Friday! We made it! Today, I wanted to share a neutral animal themed nursery design I put together a few months ago. It’s taken me a little while to get around to sharing it, but below you’ll find two options! They both incorporate the animal theme through art prints and a few cute functional decor pieces.
Personally, I’d say they’re both neutral enough to work for a boy or girl! Also, if you scroll all the way to the end, I included a third accent wall option – for a more modern touch!

Neutral Animal Nursery Mood Board
I like to put together a mood board at the beginning of each design to show the direction I’m thinking of going in. It also provides my clients some additional decor options that I may not end up using in the actual design! I offer unlimited revisions so I can always replace things in the actual design if you were to see something you like better!
Design Option 1
These designs are my 3D Full Room package. For this design, I used photos of the actual room, but I can also mock up your space from scratch!
Design option 1 incorporates gray walls (SW Repose Gray) and a peel and stick wallpaper from Etsy. I used the Ikea Hemnes dresser (a popular nursery pick), but jazzed it up a little with leather pulls. I wanted to add some warmer wood tones as well with the natural bookshelves, mirror, and hyacinth baskets for extra storage.
Design Option 2
For design option 2, I used white walls (BM Simply White) as I incorporated a leaf decal from Project Nursery. Since these are just decals, your wall color is still going to show! This option is slightly more modern than the first as it incorporates black accents in the mirror, rug, lamp, and pillow.
Modern Accent Wall Option
I also wanted to share one more option I put together for the accent wall behind the crib. This peel and stick wallpaper is more modern than the leaf options above and I utilized a cute alphabet accent rug!
