Happy Monday! It feels like forever since I’ve published a blog post! Today, I’m sharing a neutral master bedroom and bathroom design. To me, these looks have a classic and timeless quality but also a little bit of a modern farmhouse feel. I created and shared a playroom and toddler’s room for the same house a few weeks ago, which you can see here!
The color palette is the same for the whole house. As you know if you’ve read my blog before, I am a huge proponent of creating cohesion through paint! The wall color I’ve chosen for these rooms is Benjamin Moore Simply White, with accent colors of Sherwin Williams Repose Gray and Benjamin Moore Kendall Charcoal.

Master Bedroom
For the master bedroom, I created 3D designs featuring two walls – the one the bed would be on and the one across from it with a main dresser and TV above. You can see my design packages here!
I like to make sure my bedrooms have ample storage, so I included both a chest and dresser. I also always like to have a full length mirror – an usually an oversized one at that! – if the room can accommodate it. Lastly, an accent chair is a great addition to make your master bedroom really feel like a retreat!
This is a very neutral room, which I am here for! I added a pop of color with this artwork from Target above the bed [only $70!]. I have the same size and similar style artwork above my own king sized bed and love it [this one]!
Master Bathroom
For the master bathroom, I selected a natural wood vanity [there would be two of these! Big proponent of separate vanities if there is enough space!] with gold and black accents. I personally am a believer in mixing metals. Of course, it has to be done thoughtfully, and I would typically limit it to two different metals.
I love the idea of putting a chandelier over a freestanding tub in the master bathroom – another way to make the space feel like a total retreat! This is something I wish I had done in my own home [and here is the type of pendant I would have picked]! I added two floating shelves above the toilet – an easy and great way to decorate that space!
I offer 4 e-design and 3 in-person design packages ranging in price from $50 to $275! All packages include full accessibility and communication with me as well as unlimited revisions!
What do you think? I love how this one came together!
