It’s a rare day when an Amazon package doesn’t show up at our door (or 2….or 3….). I order something from Amazon almost daily. Amazon Prime has been a life saver more times than I can count. Since I have been ordering SO much lately (just ask my husband!), I thought I would share my recent favorites! Each item is linked below!
There is a lot of hype about these mugs – and for good reason! They are insulated, which as a new mom, is super convenient! They are big enough to easily hold 12oz (that’s as much as our Keurig makes at one time, so I haven’t experimented with more than that), and they’re so pretty! I may or may not have specifically picked this color because it matches my beach cruiser bike (also from Amazon! find it here!).
I hate having things on my kitchen countertops – and now that our sink is in our island, even more so! We have a built in soap dispenser so I just felt like a rogue sponge sitting on our counters was really yucky (even on a nice sponge holder/dish!). However, for convenience sake, I still wanted our sponge to be easily accessible. Enter this sponge holder which adheres inside the sink. It was super easy to stick to our sink (even though I usually mess things like this up, it’s only slightly crooked!), and hasn’t moved at all since! I’m always worried if things like this will actually stay on, but this one seems totally solid!
I guess you could call me a “coffee snob” but I don’t drink regular coffee. In fact, I only started drinking any type of coffee drink around a year ago. Basically, I like drinks with a little bit of caffeine that don’t actually taste like coffee so my go-to is usually some type of flavored latte. Alex first ordered these cappuccino cups probably a year and a half ago and I was skeptical. After trying a few other latte pods, these are definitely my favorite! They are really flavorful and reasonably priced for cappuccino/latte pods. I have one most mornings – definitely needed with a new baby!
We have a decent number of bookshelves in our house and they can be really expensive to decorate! I knew I wanted to incorporate books, but I wanted them to look a certain way (not just a random assortment of the books we already have). BUT, books are expensive! I bought a few one-offs, like Joanna Gaines’ Homebody, and then spent a lot of time searching for reasonably priced decorative books. These ones from Amazon Handmade are amazing! You can pick your color scheme and also preview the books that have been selected if you want.
I went back to the gym around 7 weeks postpartum and it became apparent very quickly that I needed a nursing sports bra (also, let’s be honest, I’m in workout clothes most of the time if I can help it). Trying to nurse Allison before or after I went to the gym (or even pump) in my regular sports bra was just a mess. I didn’t want to spend a ton of money (there are some really expensive nursing bras out there) because I have no idea how long I’ll actually be using it for. I have loved this one so far! I wear it under casual clothes too, like in this picture! PS. Check out my postpartum workout ideas here!
For my baby shower, part of everyone’s gift was a book, which was a great idea! We now have basically a whole library for Allison! Once we moved into our house and I started organizing the nursery, I was overwhelmed with what we were going to do with all these books. I had seen some pictures of them displayed, so I bought some photo ledges! We have very a very similar photo ledge to this one in another room in our house and it was WAY more expensive. These are a great deal and I love the way this wall turned out!
Obviously by looking at pictures of our house, you can tell that I’m pretty obsessed with the color gray currently. With that said, I have had the hardest time finding gray bedding that I like! It is a tricky color to get right! Sometimes it’s too dark, too blue, too purple, too green, etc etc. This quilt is the perfect color though! It’s a light quilt which works well for our daybed (which is mainly just a sitting nook in our media room, and also a work in progress obviously. I need some more pillows stat!). If you’re looking for a gray summer quilt or you live in a warm climate, I highly recommend this one!
