I’ve been working on a design for the decor for an open concept kitchen/dining/living room space and the kitchen island is a light mint/sage green – something like SW Sea Salt. I really wanted to incorporate that accent color into the rest of the decor to create cohesion throughout the space. It made me think that I have been using shades of green in my designs quite frequently lately, so I thought I would round up some of them here!

Living Room
I’ve included three different living room designs featuring the color green! In the first two designs, you’ll see the green is more of a feature piece with the couches being a green fabric. In the last design, I did more green accent pieces. You do want to try to repeat colors at least once to create cohesion across a space (or multiple spaces!).

Dining Room
First, let’s talk actual green paint colors since my dining room designs below have some different swatches.
In the first design, the two greens are: SW Clary Sage and SW Secret Garden
The walls in the second design are BM Lichen.

Bedroom
This bedroom design is a great example of repeating a color in multiple decor elements to create cohesion. You can see hints off green in the bedding, wall art, throw pillow, curtains, and decorative tray. (Notice how this is done with the black accents as well in the chandelier, lamps, and floor mirror frame!)
