Happy Friday! Sheesh it’s been about 80 degrees out here the last two days so I got my act together and spring-ified my dining room! I thought I would share a little spring dining room tour with a few pictures if you are in need of any spring refresh inspo!
Our dining room has a coastal farmhouse style with lots of texture. We have rope and jute and wood accents with beachy artwork and a colorful sideboard thrown in! Actually, you can see how my dining room has evolved over time by checking out this post of my summer dining room from 2020.
I’ve linked everything at the end!

Coastal Farmhouse Dining Room
I have a lot of details on my dining room in this post and on the shop my home page here (with pictures that need to be updated!!), but I thought I would add some of the specifics here! I will be sharing more looks at this room on Instagram so make sure to follow me there!
First and foremost – wall details! The paint color above the wainscoting is SW Dorian Gray. The wainscoting is 52″ high and it is a custom color (matches all the trim in the whole house and all white cabinets). Between the windows I have an 18×24 beach print from Etsy. I do switch this out seasonally! My faux palm tree is 6′ tall but if I had to do it again, I would go for a taller tree – at least 7′ (we have 10′ ceilings on the first floor).
We have two wicker captain’s chairs. I love having the end chairs be a little more substantial and different to provide interest! They are currently out of stock but these barrel chairs are similar! I put a floral patterened pillow from last year’s spring line at Target on each chair (switched out the insert). My jute rug is a 9×12.
Our chandelier is currently out of stock but it does come in a similar wagon wheel style. I wanted to have a white table in here because we have a gray wood table in our breakfast nook already. I paired the table with wood bistro chairs, which go out of stock all the time, but actually seem in stock for shipping currently! I put two natural fan palms in a large Target vase. I used floral foam in the vase to get them to stay where I wanted.
This sideboard is a great color (Surfside) if you’re looking to add some coastal farmhouse style to your home! My set of 6 canvas artwork above was a HomeGoods find! I like to keep the decor on top simple. I added some new Pottery Barn greenery to the vase (4 peony stems and 2 eucalyptus) for spring – check out my other spring refresh purchases here!
Lastly, I have a gold bar cart on my other wall and it’s basically the first thing you see when you enter the house, lol. I love to decorate my bar cart seasonally! For spring I added a vase of lemons and pink tumbler glasses. You can check out all of my bar cart decorating tips here and here!
