October 5th – October 11th
Happy Saturday friends! I’m starting a new series where every Saturday I am going to share what I’ve posted on Instagram that past week as well as some popular inspiration pictures that I pinned during the week.
It finally occurred to me that not everyone uses Instagram or Pinterest or Facebook and you might be following me in one place but not the others, and therefore missing out on some of the things I share! I figured the blog would be a great place to summarize my posts on these social media platforms so you don’t miss a thing.
You can also shop the pictures that are from my home directly below! Enjoy!

I love taking pictures of my kitchen. Our island color is Dustblu (SW 9161) and our hardwood floors are white pine stained with 50% weathered gray and 50% solvent and finished in matte. See more of our kitchen in my kitchen + butler’s pantry reveal here.
Since I took this photo, I have decorated this wall for Halloween! Tune into my Instagram stories on Monday for a mini-house Halloween tour I’m doing with some other bloggers to see it! Two of my favorite elements in this room are the trim details: coffered ceilings and shiplap on the fireplace surround. Check out my post on different trim options here for more ideas!
I recently pinned this modern farmhouse exterior and it has been BLOWING up! I know white modern farmhouses are all the rage right now – in fact, we have so many under construction in our neighborhood – but this really struck a cord with me because of the windows! I love how big they are. And that slider – I love how it completely opens to the outdoors!
I’ve been following Regan on Instagram for a while and LOVED her laundry room makeover. She has a whole highlight on her instagram page detailing how she completed this room transformation! That Alexa, Fold the Laundry print is seriously perfect!
This is actually my master bathroom and #3 on my popular pins for the week! Confession time: We have never used this tub! We briefly considered not having a tub in our master bathroom because we just don’t use it but I pretty much insisted that it is a necessity in terms of resale. The freestanding faucet was a bit of splurge item but I love the look it gives the space!
Have a great weekend!
