Today, I wanted to share my design for the winner of my giveaway! The winner of my giveaway is moving into a new house [her first home!] in May, so I created a design for her living room TV wall.
Where to Put the TV
The first question she had to decide on before I could do my design was where she wanted to put the TV. The old owners had the TV on the wall directly next to the front door. She wanted to move it to either over the fireplace or the wall shown below. I thought it would probably be a little cramped above the fireplace, so we both agreed on this wall!
Wall Treatment
Because this room is vaulted, the wall we selected for the TV is pretty big. I wanted make that a feature wall to accent the vault. You can see all the details of each feature wall below.
Designing around a TV
She also wanted to make sure the wall was functional as they like to host game watches but pretty and not overly focused on the TV. Also, given the size of the wall, I wanted to add some decor pieces around the TV.

My first design above incorporates the following paint colors: SW 7015 Repose Gray (one of my favorites! Check out my top 3 paint tips here!) and SW 6244 Naval for the accent wall.
I incorporated shiplap into the second design as it is a great wall to fill up a big wall. For paint colors, I suggested: SW 7064 Passive for the walls and SW 7008 Alabaster for the shiplap.
The winner of my giveaway had previously purchased the rug shown, so that’s why I incorporated into into both my designs! I can work with any existing items you may have or anything you want to make sure to include in my design service!
